Standard matte film tends to turn white under friction, especially on dark‑colored boxes. Hot foil stamping may peel off at corners. Spot UV improves wear performance yet still gets scratched if thinly applied. Soft‑touch lamination delivers premium feel but has lower scratch resistance compared with glossy film.
2. Practical Ways to Improve Wear Resistance
Upgrade surface material to anti‑scuff matte film or heavy‑duty soft‑touch lamination. For dark boxes, replace large thin foil areas with thicker stamping or add UV coating for extra protection. Run abrasion test on pre‑production samples. Rub box surface with cotton cloth repeatedly to check whitening, color loss or foil peeling before mass production. Pack each box with individual PE bag and divider paper between boxes. Fill shipping cartons properly to prevent shifting and rubbing inside cartons.

Inform your packaging supplier about your shipping condition: ocean freight, courier delivery or Amazon FBA handling. Do not judge quality only by static sample appearance. Simulate transport friction to verify durability, so boxes stay flawless when delivered to end buyers.
